Sihanoukville has many different attractions for all kinds of interests, but I will also mention a couple of other attractions outside Sihanoukville area, because travel time to most of the attractions outside Sihanoukville mentioned here is limited to a couple of hours.

The Temple is located at the top of Sihanoukville Mountain.
I don't think it needs any closer description because a temple is a temple,, right....?
A good idea is to go up there just before sunset because the view is amazing from the hill top.

Deep sea fishing is highly recommended not only for the “great fisherman”, all the family can enjoy this, even if you don't want to go fishing you can sit and enjoy the ocean and nature along Cambodia's coast.
Professional staff will help you with everything you want to know so you don't have to be a professional fisherman.
Fisherman's Den operates fishing tours.

The beach that has it all!!
Ochheuteal Beach is a perfect place for a nice relaxing day, free chairs and a wide selection of restaurants and bars.

| Hawaii Beach |
| |
Hawaii Beach is a small beach for one who likes peace and quiet, not so many people and an excellent local Seafood Restaurant right next to the beach.

Independence Beach
Independence Beach was named after the long closed down Independence hotel. Although used by weekenders it is less crowded than the other beaches. Long and narrow this beach is better at low tide. The northwest end is better because it's wider there. A seafood restaurant and fresh water lake can be found there but don't swim there as you might meet an old crocodile. A grassy park with many kinds of statues is there for your relaxation as well as a few monkeys along the road to the decaying Independence hotel.

Victory Beach
Victory Beach is divided by a rocky point. The southern beach (shown) is also known as "Hawaii Beach" and is home to a good seafood restaurant and a lot of peaceful sand. The northern side is where the shipping port and a park are located. A great place to watch the big ships come and go. Budget bungalows & restaurants can be found close by.

A 30 min drive takes us to a river village, Prek Tuk Sap. From there we boat through the mangrove channels observing the park's wildlife and locals fishing and going about their daily lives.
